The Doug Pensinger Photography Fund (DPPF) aims to contribute to the continued success of the International Olympic Committee and Olympic Information Service Sports Photography Training Programme. The DPPF will provide a curated selection of past and current DPPF grantees as candidates for this opportunity to learn from industry-leading figures and develop their skills as they cover the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games.
The partnership with the DPPF provides the IOC with candidates from an exceptional group of early-career photographers who are serious about advancing their careers and understand the value of learning from professionals in the industry. The Doug Pensinger Photography Fund Board of Directors and advisory board member, Jed Jacobsohn will recommend to the IOC up to 6 previous grant recipients who have expressed interest in the program through an application process. Recommendations will focus on grantees from the host countries of the United States, Italy, and France, however, excellent candidates of other nationalities will be considered. The recommendations will be based on quality of work, enthusiasm for the position, ability to work well in a small team, and level of experience.
