2023 GRANT WINNER
Tyler McFarland
Tyler is an Athletic Department photographer at Boise State University, working toward his B.A. in Strategic Communications and Business. He has experience with editorial photography and photojournalism and has worked as a photography intern at a number of studios in Boise. He has had the opportunity to attend NCAA Men’s Final Four as a workshop participant in 2023 as well as the College Football Playoffs as a photographer in 2021.
Tyler is passionate about sharing moments with all teams at Boise State. He plans to use the grant to buy studio lighting equipment that will better enable him to do so. He is also the recipient of a DPPF mentorship with Ariele Goldman-Hecht.
