Will Palmer
Will is a UK-based Environment, Economics and Ecology graduate from the University of York, working as a full-time freelance photographer across multiple sports both in the UK and abroad. His freelance assignments last year for SWpix included the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, the 2022 European Championships in Munich and the rescheduled 2021 Rugby League World Cup.
This year, alongside his continued coverage of International field-hockey, Will has received assignments covering the Premier League, Champions League, and International football matches. He was recently recognized as the 2022 Young Photographer of the Year, both in the AIPS (International Sports Press Association) and the SJA (British Sports Journalism) Awards.
Will is also the recipient of a DPPF mentorship with Christian Petersen.
