2022 GRANT WINNER

Ben Green

Ben Green lives in Buffalo, where he is a Team Photographer for the Buffalo Bills, Sabres, and Bandits. Following his graduation from the University of Oregon where he studied history and worked for the student newspaper, the Daily Emerald, he interned for the Kansas City Chiefs where he had the opportunity to document the team’s first Super Bowl victory in 50 years. After his internship, he photographed a number of high profile events including two more Super Bowls and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Ben’s passion for sports photography is fueled by making images that go beyond the game, telling the behind the scenes stories that drive athletes toward greatness. He is thrilled to be a part of the DPPF and will be putting his grant toward career development in other avenues of photography to expand his skillset.

Ben is also the recipient of a DPPF mentorship, and he will be working with Advisory Board photographer Tom Pennington.
