Grace Bradley
Grace is Staff Photographer for the MLS team FC Cincinnati and previously interned for Clarkson Creative/NCAA Photos. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where she was a UK Athletics staff photographer.

Angelina Katsanis
Angelina is an East coast-based photographer and former visuals fellow at the Star Tribune. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, she led the annual Sports Photojournalism Workshop there and was photo editor at the Daily Tar Heel.

Kent Edwards
Kent is a self taught photographer from Bowie, Maryland. He is currently based in New York City and is a photo intern at Thomson Reuters. Previously, he worked as a photography intern with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Máté Ladjánszki
Máté works for the Népszava newspaper. He studied photography at Budapest Metropolitan University. In 2023 he participated in the AIPS Young Reporter Program at the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin.

Gunnar Word
Gunnar is the photo coordinator for the Texas Rangers and previously interned with the Cincinnati Reds and the Bowling Green Hot Rods. He received his B.A. in Photojournalism from Western Kentucky University.

Aleksandra Janiak
Originally from Poland and now living in the French Alps, Aleksandra works asa freelance photographer and filmmaker. She specializes in mountain sports and has a deep affection for reportage.

Matin Hashemi
Born in Tabriz, Iran, Matin received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in multimedia from Tabriz Islamic Art University. He has freelanced for SOO Images (Iran), NVP Canada, SDN Agency (USA) and other media outlets.

Grace Smith
Grace is a staff photojournalist at The Indianapolis Star. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2024, where she worked at the Daily Iowan.
She previously held an internship at The Denver Post.

In September, 18 recent grant recipients gathered with DPPF Advisory Board professionals for an inspiring weekend in Denver. Seminar presentations, portfolio reviews, and multiple opportunities to connect with others in the industry made this a pivotal opportunity for the Fund’s grantees.
