Jessica Carroll
Jessica Carroll works in the communications and media operations department at Major League Baseball where she oversees all aspects of global photography for the league office. This includes directing photo operations at international and jewel events like the All-Star Game, World Series, and World Baseball Classic, coordinating photography with all 30 MLB Clubs, managing business partnerships, running the organization’s photo licensing business, hiring photographers, maintaining the historic photo archive and developing league-wide photography policies and procedures. MLB documents the National Pastime for millions of fans with the latest technologies and highest standards in the industry.
Jessica devotes time and energy to creating an inclusive space in the photography community through her involvement in DE&I efforts including the amplification of MLB and Getty’s partnership to support the HBCU photography mentorship program, and her involvement in WISE (Women in Sports + Events).
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s photojournalism program, Jessica went on to work in the photography departments at the United States Golf Association and Golf Digest. She has been with MLB since 2008.
Jessica has been a mentor and grants judge panelist for the DPPF.
