Katelyn Mulcahy is a freelance sports photographer and editor based in Los Angeles. A love of sports and school pride led her outside of her California roots to the University of Michigan, where she began her career as Managing Photo Editor of The Michigan Daily before going on to work with Major League Baseball, the National Football League, and Getty Images.
On a regular basis, she covers teams across the NBA, NFL, and MLB, in addition to working abroad for a range of clients. Career highlights include Super Bowl LVI, the Tour de France Femmes, and multiple Olympic Games, FIFA World Cups, and WTA Finals.
She was a grantee of the Doug Pensinger Photography Fund in both 2020 and 2021
