Carmen is currently based in Houston TX and recently joined Getty Images as a staff sports photographer. Prior to that, she was a freelance photographer with posts in several cities including, Cleveland, Chicago, St Pete, and Atlanta.

Carmen has a deep passion for storytelling, and the restorative medium that photography is. She comes from a strong blue-collar background, and the journey of life is something she is always exploring and continuously learning about, particularly through the scope of images. We all have to fall in love with something, and she believes in falling in love with your profession and spreading that love as far as you can reach.
