Tim Nwachukwu is a staff sports photographer represented by Getty Images in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A photojournalism graduate of the University of Missouri and the owner of Nwachukwu Works LLC, Tim was in the inaugural 2020 class of DPPF Grant winners.

Tim’s goal is to show what makes our existences relatable yet unique. He considers no assignment too big or small, or any day too long. He believes that photographs serve as some of the strongest fibers that bond us. They preserve history, cultivate communities and open a vast door to those who previously could only dream.
